About the Project

Junaid Home Interiors is Silchar's premier turnkey interior design company, specializing in factory-finished modular kitchens, customized bedroom wardrobes, false ceiling LED profiles, TV lounge cabinets, foyer units, and 3D design consultations across the Barak Valley region. Despite having over 10 years of local craftsmanship and 100+ completed homes, the business previously had zero official website presence. We were commissioned to design and build their digital brand platform completely from scratch—creating a high-end web application with Sanity CMS portfolio management, instant dev cache revalidation, and industry-leading Core Web Vitals performance.

The Challenge

Building a premier digital identity from scratch presented four key technical and digital challenges: (1) establishing a luxury, editorial-grade web platform from zero online presence while handling 34 initial search indexing crawler URL patterns in Google Search Console to avoid broken link warnings; (2) achieving ultra-fast mobile load times despite media-heavy portfolio photography by optimizing source asset weights (reducing raw hero backgrounds from 559KB to 73KB); (3) eliminating hydration render delays on mobile devices where Framer Motion's initial opacity:0 state blocked Chrome's LCP engine; and (4) ensuring strict 100% WCAG AA color contrast compliance across all consultation booking forms without compromising on luxury visual aesthetics.

Project Goals
  • 01

Architect an editorial, high-performance Next.js 16 + React 19 web application reflecting premium interior craftsmanship.

  • 02

Integrate Headless Sanity CMS with real-time dev cache bypass (revalidate: 0 in dev) for instant portfolio publishing.

  • 03

Map all 34 legacy .html, .php, and query parameter URLs to active Next.js destination routes via 301 redirects in next.config.ts.

  • 04

Achieve a top-tier 99/100 Desktop Performance score and a perfect 100/100 sweep in Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO.

  • 05

Resolve all WCAG AA color contrast warnings on lead capture forms to ensure 100% accessibility compliance.

  • 06

Integrate Lenis kinetic smooth scrolling and persistent WhatsApp consultation lead capture buttons with pre-filled inquiry templates.

The Solution

We engineered a modern, full-stack web application built on Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, and Tailwind CSS v4. We connected a Headless Sanity CMS backend, allowing the client to upload project galleries organized into 9 specialized design categories (Modular Kitchens, TV Units, False Ceilings, PVC Ceilings, Pooja Units, Foyer Units, Vanity Units, Bedroom Designs, and Wardrobes). To solve Search Console indexing issues, we implemented a comprehensive 301 redirection engine in next.config.ts mapping 34 legacy endpoints and query parameters to active Next.js routes, including a host-based redirect canonicalizing non-www traffic to www.junaidhomeinteriors.com. For performance and image optimization, we compressed static public assets with Sharp CLI (reducing hero-bg.webp from 559KB to 73KB), configured custom mobile device sizes ([360, 480]), applied quality={65} across all Next.js Image components, and appended edge parameters (?auto=format&q=60) to Sanity CDN URLs. We implemented dynamic code-splitting (next/dynamic) for below-the-fold homepage sections, upgraded the TypeScript target to ES2022 to eliminate legacy polyfills, and removed initial opacity:0 delays on the Hero heading to guarantee immediate LCP paints. Finally, we updated input placeholders and country prefixes to solid high-contrast colors, achieving 100/100 in accessibility.

Frequently Asked

Questions & Answers

Q1How did you resolve the 34 Google Search Console "Page with redirect" errors?

We implemented a comprehensive redirects array in next.config.ts mapping all 34 legacy .html, .php, and query parameter URLs (like /product.php?slug=wardrobe -> /services/modular-wardrobes) directly to clean Next.js destination routes via 301 permanent redirects, while canonicalizing non-www domain traffic to www.junaidhomeinteriors.com.

Q2How did you achieve a 99/100 PageSpeed Performance score?

We compressed static source assets using Sharp CLI (reducing hero-bg.webp from 559KB to 73KB), configured custom mobile deviceSizes ([360, 480]), set image quality to 65%, appended auto=format&q=60 to Sanity CDN URLs, dynamically imported below-the-fold components (next/dynamic), upgraded the compiler target to ES2022, and removed initial opacity:0 render delays on the Hero heading.

Q3How does the Sanity CMS integration benefit the client?

Sanity CMS allows Junaid Home Interiors to publish new completed interior projects directly from their phone or laptop. The system automatically categorizes images into 9 interior design specializations and optimizes them at the CDN edge without requiring developer intervention.
